An appearance mod that allows V to sport the cyberware that players can see on the faces of Netwatch agents, this mod might not do anything crazy in the gameplay but is a damn good facial enhancement to h
While this may seem like a lonely game, with V completing his/her story through deserted lanes and empty intersections, it improves the game’s performance exponentially owing to the lesser number of components the system has to render. Furthermore, the look is quite dystopian and makes for a slightly ridiculous mod that gamers looking for efficiency might pre
I’m sitting far enough back that I’m out of the crowd. Watching. Watching the line of people and vehicles as they wait at the border. Watching the Tower Group guards as they give the go-ahead to some to pass through the gate, forcing others – often physically – out of line and sending them wearily back to the bordertown; the badlands. They were probably mutants. Tower guards hate mutants. On the other side of the gate lies Cincinnati, now one of the only places in North America that’s hospitable enough to act as a major city – at least, as far as I’m aware right now. I’ve seen planes flying in and out of the city. There has to be somewhere else, ri
Then, out of nowhere, a truck explodes. Bullets begin to whiz past me. On one side of me, a group of bordertown rebels are attacking the guards, not caring if any innocent civilians get caught between their crosshairs. On the other side, the Tower guards at the gate respond by unleashing hell with their automatic rifles and tower turrets. I’m caught in the crossfire and I need to move. As I start, though, I hear the screams of the child that’s trapped in the cabin of the exploded truck. She’s somehow still alive – her mother, the driver of the truck, not so lucky. I could easily start running the opposite direction, away from the chaos. Instead, I take a chance and sprint towards the truck in an attempt to save the child while staying alive myself – a dice roll with odds that aren’t exactly in my fa
Many countries, including Japan, consider NUSA a third-world country. This likely has to do with the fact that NUSA basically relies entirely on corporations, specifically Militech, to maintain any semblance of order. Plus, everywhere is just a mess, which has caused the world to look down on what was at one point the most powerful nation on the pla
Led by Saburo Arasaks, they have made Japan the top of the world in just about everything —so much so, that even losing a fourth corporate war with Militech hardly did anything to stop its influence in Japan. Knowing what strings to pull, what to invest in and more have made Arasaka and Japan a true juggernaut on the world st
It feels very hopeless to watch Kolgrim grow when you don’t have an answer for him. With lower Adrenaline, he has 1 less turn to trigger, which means he doesn’t necessarily require a direct answer to be outpoin
Most people know that Night City is called “The City of Dreams.” Various people have either crafted a lasting legacy here or died in the process, which goes to show just how ruthless this city is and how this slogan is pretty ironic in its own
Kojima has a long history of making brief cameos in his own games, especially throughout the Metal Gear Solid series, but has more recently begun appearing in other studios’ works as well. His cameos outside of Kojima Productions games tend to embrace the visionary game director’s personality. Oshima in Cyberpunk is more or less a braindance analogue for real-life Kojima, and Dr. Tokui taking players on a ” guided imagery experience ” is rather similar to what Kojima does with video games. Hideo Kojima’s reputation precedes him, but it is clear that he is highly regarded within the games industry, and his commitment to artistry within the medium has led to many video game appearanc
It primarily focuses on the aftermath of the previously mentioned fourth corporate war and how Arasaka eventually returns to Night City. Players of Red will know how Arasaka returned to Night City and without them coming back, the events of 2077 would surely have never happe
As it turns out, Night would end up being assassinated in 1998 before he could live to see what would become of his city. To this day, it is unknown who killed Richard Night. It’s a cold case that will probably never be sol
The above image shows Kojima on the far right edge of the screen during one of Metal Gear Solid 4 ‘s opening cutscenes. Kojima’s likeness will also flash on the screen during Psycho Mantis’ appearance, a callback to the cameo in the first MGS . Aside from these, Kojima’s voice can be heard at various time throughout Guns of the Patrio
