WEG was the winner of the Capital Goods sector in the “2021 Latin America Executive Team-Capital Goods” Ranking, prepared by Institutional Investor magazine, which is one of the most renowned publications specialized in the international financial market. ALADYR is a non-profit trade association, the most important reference in Latin America in terms of desalination, reuse and treatment of water and effluents. Founded in November 2010, within the framework of the II International Desalination Seminar in the city of Antofagasta, Chile, the association fosters the development, promotion and gathering of timely knowledge on technologies for desalination, reuse and treatment of water and effluents, based on the provision of information exchange spaces that promote strategic alliances, projects and initiatives aimed at guaranteeing access to drinking water in Latin America under standards of sustainability, efficiency and social future.

This new system works on water treatment infrastructures, helping in the operation and maintenance of plants and optimizing asset management.
With this new participation in ALADYR, WEG wish to continue providing solutions for the water sector in Latin America, and collaborate with other partners to improve water supply throughout the region.
